One Hurricane Hits Boston!

 

 

       What people believed to be a wild category one hurricane named the Liquidator hit the Boston Massachusetts on January 17, 1908.  The worst damage was on the east side of Boston. Eyewitness saw people from Codman sq get picked up by the wind and thrown through windows.  So after people got picked up off their feet and thrown through window’s, roofs even came off the tops of houses. It is estimated that the damage will cost between $200,000 and $300,000 just to fix the damage in the city.
